We saw SOA as an enabler of BPM. We closed the gap with the business by showing them how BPMS tools can change their world. The BPMS tools allow the business to streamline business processes which eliminate waste, improve efficiencies, provide KPIs and a real time view into their business, improve cust. sat. and employee morale, reduce costs, and generate incremental revenue. SOA allows us to implement the BPMS tools without having to rearchitect all of our legacy systems. We call this legacy rejuvenation.Mike Kavishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08722839431789381667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4726426499105885054.post-78242626829768584412008-04-21T11:52:00.000-05:002008-04-21T11:52:00.000-05:00The link is currently down. I do however still have quibbles about the idea of "selling SOA" to the business. You can see my post here:
http://www.enterpriseagility.dk/?p=20

Which opportunities do you see in using BPM and SOA to break down (or reduce the gap between) the business and IT organisational silos?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
